EU-workshop in Milan, 12^th-15^th March

We have great news for you: the German organization team has managed to raise enough funds to finance the workshop „EUrope's voice". It is supported by the European Union.

This workshop will include the four European delegations: Italy, France, Great Britain and Germany. The purpose of this workshop is to develop a common European position regarding the G8-topics. It represents a next step to make the ModelG8 more realistic, because participants will experience the challenge of even finding a unified European response to many global problems.

During the workshop, we will meet and discuss with representative of European institutions and organizations, but will mainly be focussed on elaborating a small "European communiqué".

"EUrope's voice" will take place from 12^th-15^th March just before the G8 Youth Summit 2009.

We initiated this workshop because we all are convinced that the European Union as an institution should aim at speaking with one voice in the future. Even though in reality, such a institutionalized meeting wouldn't take place, we want to go a step further and advance a common European position. If this is not revolutionary, what is?
